Conducted at the Study Centre, the Adult Education Program began in January 2019. It runs in the late afternoons, and thanks to our Electrification Project, continues into the evenings.
Particularly popular are the Adult Literacy classes. The number of mothers of our students who have come to learn to read and speak English is heartwarming.
In our first year, 16 adults rewrote school exams in an effort to improve their own lives through education. We also had 10 teachers writing exams to improve their results, giving them a chance to go to college in the future.
Over time this project will develop into a skills training centre to offer more opportunities to the community.
